Kyle Briggs, CFA^®

Kyle focuses on managing client relationships and investing client portfolios with an emphasis on asset allocation, investment research, and portfolio analysis. He brings particular expertise in option trading strategies, concentrated stock management, and Rule 10b5-1 planning for executives at publicly traded companies.

Before co-founding Promontory Wealth, Kyle was a vice president at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, where he worked closely with high-net-worth clients to deliver tailored investment solutions. Prior to that, he served as a vice president and Investment Specialist at First Republic Investment Management and as a Senior Private Wealth Relationship Manager at Merrill Lynch Private Wealth Management. Since 2012, he’s built a career in investing and wealth management grounded in thoughtful, client-first advice.

Kyle holds the Chartered Financial Analyst^® (CFA^®) designation. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in corporate finance from the University of Southern California.

As an advocate for education, Kyle teaches financial literacy through Financial Beginnings California, working with underserved communities across the state. He also serves on the BEST Friends Board for LA’s BEST, an after-school enrichment program supporting thousands of children in Los Angeles.

Away from the office, Kyle enjoys staying active through volleyball, golf, and boxing.
